Sit down my son let's learn to pray, And mark the words that we will say. For God has taught from His own word, Let wisdom come from what we've heard.
Our Holy Father strong to save, I worship you, revere Your name. Hear me from Your home on high, May Your Kingdom even now draw nigh?
I place my trust in You alone, To provide my eternal home.. My sins you've covered with Jesus blood, And taught me to forgive.
Through countless pitfalls of this world, You guide me with your loving hand. You know the sin that lives in me, And make me strong to turn away.
I pray now that Your will be done, And let it start in my own heart. I seek Your kingdom in my life, The end to human sin and strife.
