I received word yesterday that my brother Walter made his transition to heaven. This news was not a great shock to me, nor will I mourn his passing because he and I had discussed on several occasions and he assured me he knew Jesus in his heart and was ready to meet Him. I will miss him as a good friend and miss the times when I could call him and get his expert advice on things to do with wood, electronics, metal work and so many other things that he was so talented in. He always carried that little book you see in his pocket, and I'm sure it was full of projects and ideas he had running around in that intelligent brain of his. If he could think it, he could build it. In the great tradition of our father, he could do whatever he set his mind and hands to do.
A quiet peaceful man who was content to live and raise his family without striving for all the world tells us we need. I loved him and will miss the talks we used to have. I'll see him again.
Mike
Don't cry for me because I'm gone
In each of you I will live on
Each time you remember the times we had
Go ahead and laugh, please don't be sad
Live on with joy in your hearts
Choose to dwell on the happy parts
I'll wait right here for you to come
To meet me in our heavenly home
Michael. That was a Great piece you wrote about Walter
so sorry for your loss but I know he had a Great life
i have thought of so many memories about your family this week
So glad your family was a part of my life
